Sewer Systems

If you have a blockage in your sewer system, bypass pumping can help you avoid bypassing untreated sewage. Bypass pumps are used to pump water from one side of the bypassed section to the other, allowing for repair work to be done on the blocked or obstructed section.

Streams & Creeks

Bypass pumping can also be used to bypass a section of stream or creek for a variety of reasons, including repairing or replacing pipes, clearing debris, or to allow construction to take place in an area that would normally be underwater.

Bypass pumping bypasses a section of pipe by using a pump to bypass the damaged or leaky section of pipe. This is often done to bypass a pump station to allow for repair and maintenance work without disrupting the flow of water.

While completing repair or maintenance, bypass pumping allows the rest of the wastewater treatment plant to continue operating while the bypassed section is offline.
